Vijay Sethupathi is reported to have told his directors that he is not interested in having heroines for his films. The star is keen on taking up performance-oriented roles and has therefore requested

his directors to come up with scripts that will show him in a different light.

Interestingly, in Purampokku, which also has Arya and Shaam in the lead roles, Vijay Sethupathi doesn’t have a pair. And in his other project that also has Dhanush as the hero, Samantha has been roped in but she will be Dhanush’s onscreen pair. Well, Vijay Sethupathi is a very different hero that Kollywood is getting to see!
