    Song rating: 3.5/5
The intro song of Vijay and Mohanlal is a good number though it is not pacy. It has good instruments And sounds good with the two great singers. Yugabharathi lyrics are fabulous and shows the characters of the two heroes.

2. Verasa pogayila

This is a perfect montage song by the composer. His mesmerizing voice adds great feel to the song and upcoming lyricist Parvathy has done her best . Simple yet effective instruments used by the composer. Well done !

3. Kandangi Kandangi
    Lyrics: Vairamuthu
    Singers: Vijay, Shreya Ghoshal
    Song rating: 4.5/5
The most expected song sung by the actor himself and the lady who has beautiful voice with great legendary writer has come out extra ordinary well. Vijay has proved his singing skills yet again and no need to mention about the talent of Shreya Ghoashal. Perfect song !!

4. Jingunamani
     Lyrics: Viveka
     Singers: K.G.Ranjith, Sunidhu Chauhan
     Song rating: 3.5/5
This is probably the club song and has good work by the singers. Sunidhi Chauhan's voice is too good and suits perfectly and Ranjith has also done his best. Lyrics by Viveka also good and the instruments are perfectly used.

5. Yepo mama treat-u
     Lyrics: Viveka
     Singers: A.V.Pooja, D.Imman, Snigdha Chandra.

The instruments seem bit like Vaa da vaa da paiya song but it is completely different. The end kuthu is sure to be a treat for fans with Vijay's dancing skills. Well done Imman again !

6. Jilla theme
     Song rating: 3/5
The theme music has vocals and good lyrics by Viveka and is good. The traditional kerala instruments are used well and musically sounds good.

Album review: D.Imman has proved his talent in all the genres with Jilla. Though it is levels to the levels of Thupaki and Thalaivaa, Jilla has good music and provides great fun. Well done Imman !!!

Album rating: 4/5
